Civilizing Sexuality by John Hules is a book that will

• examine how traditional moral and social values contribute to —
  and cover up — rape, incest, and child molestation
• discuss how we can heal the sexual shame that results from abuse
• present a new sexual ethic that respects both desires and boundaries.

This is a work in progress and not yet complete, but I've decided to make the draft manuscript available on the Web in the hope of contributing to the public dialogue on the issues raised in this study.
